HGC Coordinator
Grant funded position through Pascale Sykes Foundation and People for People/Heart of Gloucester County (HGC). Coordinate and manage the HGC Resource Center (to be located in District) and direct Resource Center staff. Plan, develop, and facilitate community programs and assist Resource Center staff in navigating the HGC website: www.heartofgloucestercounty.org. Promote services hosted by Clayton School District on beehalf of HGC.  Part-time average of four hours per week plus or minus. Schedule may vary to meet the terms of the program; before and after school hours required as needed; occasional evenings and weekends. Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field preferred. Experience in coordinating and managing human service programs. Knowledge of social service and health programs in Gloucester County, such as WIC, First Steps, Children's Medicaid, etc., desirable. Information and Referral Specialist
2 Grant-Funded Positions through the Pascale Sykes Foundation and People for People/Heart of Gloucester County (HGC)
Provide information and referral services to families who access the Clayton HGC Resource Center (to be located in  District) by helping them navigate the Heart of Gloucester County (HGC) website www.heartofgloucestercounty.org and connecting them to various support resources within the community. Part-time average of four hours per week plus or minus 2 hours. Schedule may vary to meet the terms of the program; before and after school hours required as needed; occasional evenings and weekends.)  Bachelor's Degre preferred or 60 college credits with 5 years experience working with at-risk populations in an education, healthcare or human service setting.  Strong computer skills: internet, email, Microsoft Word, Excelt, PowerPoint, preferred. Experience with low-income populations in an education, health care or human service setting preferred, knowledge of social service and health programs in Gloucester County, such as WIC, First Steps, Children's Medicaid, etc. desirable. Micro Society Club Facilitators (1 Facilitator and 1 Substitute)
Staff needed to facilitate the Micro Society Club for students in grades 3 through 5. Club meetings to be held Monday through Wednesday from 3:35 p.m. to 5:35 p.m.m starting February 13, 2012, through May 23, 2012. Minimum requirements - 60 college credits and valid substitute teacher certificate. Familiarity with Micro Society Program a plus. NJ Teaching Certificate preferred.
